2 nm chips as early as next year?

This causes numerous problems, since at these distances the principles of quantum physics are already at work, which are not easy to circumvent otherwise.
Apple has already begun the transition to a lower technology process
In this development, Apple has used 3-nanometer chips in its iPhones and Macs. This is quite an improvement, as until now Apple has used chips in the 5 nm process. The change has allowed GPU performance gains of 20% and 10% for the CPU. TSMC’s 2 nm lithography will allow the company to further develop its computers and increase performance with similar power consumption. It will also allow the company to become a leader in energy efficiency. Competition in the form of Nvidia, Intel or AMD will still be based on chips made with inferior technological processes.
