The Chinese have officially unveiled their flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. It was eagerly awaited by people from all over the world, and one thing can be said already. The manufacturer has not disappointed us.
Technical specifications of Xiaomi 14 Ultra
The specifications, as befits a flagship, are quite impressive. After all, we’re dealing with a 6.73-inch AMOLED LTPO screen with a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels and brightness of 3000 nits. The screen also offers 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling.
Of the additional options we get are: HDR10+, HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision and 12-bit color depth support. The fingerprint reader is located directly under the screen.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor takes care of the smoothness and user experience, with the SoC clocked at up to 3.3GHz and supported by 8533Mbps LPDDR5X RAM. Depending on the variant we choose, we will have 12, or 16 GB of memory at our disposal. As for ROM, on the other hand, here the manufacturer has not spared either. The phone can be purchased in a version with up to 1 TB of built-in memory.
As for the battery, the manufacturer has equipped its top model with a 5300 mAh battery. It charges in two ways: wired with up to 90 watts, or inductive with up to 80 watts of “speed”. Such power allows the battery to be charged from 0 to 100% in 35 and 49 minutes, respectively. Is this a good result? I leave the answer to this question already to you.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra cameras
The most important aspect of the phone, which definitely draws attention first, is the cameras. I purposely left this issue to the very end, as this seems to be the most interesting topic and needs to be discussed more extensively.
The manufacturer has decided to rely on four cameras on the back of the device in its smartphone. The main camera has a 1-inch LYT-900 sensor, an aperture of f/1.63 to f/4, eight lenses, and HyperOIS optical image stabilization.
As for the next two cameras, they are telephoto cameras equipped with IMX858 sensors and OIS. The last camera is used for macro shots, and it is equipped with an f/1.8 aperture and a 122-degree lens.
Xiaomi flagship price
At the moment, the phone has not yet arrived in Europe, so you can’t be quite sure what prices you can count on in our market. Nevertheless, the estimated prices are as follows:
- 12 GB/256 GB version ~ 3600 PLN
- 16 GB/512 GB version ~ 3900 PLN
- 16 GB/1 TB version ~ 4300 PLN
- 16 GB/1 TB version + titanium frame ~ 4900 zloty
